Okay, let’s get real. Logic isn’t just for robots and philosophers. It’s the invisible dance partner that guides every move we make, whether we realise it or not.

Think of it like riding a motorcycle. You can’t just twist the throttle and hope for the best. You need to understand the physics, anticipate the curves and react smoothly to the unexpected. Logic is your internal GPS, constantly recalculating your route and keeping you on track.

Or imagine a pack of wolves. They don’t just randomly charge after prey. They observe, they strategise, they use their collective intelligence to bring down the strongest animal. Logic is their pack mentality, their shared understanding of how to work together for the best outcome.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “But I’m not a scientist and I don’t hunt wolves!”

Trust me, you use logic every single day.

  • Making breakfast? You use logic to figure out the order of operations: toast first, then eggs, because you know the toast will get cold while you’re cooking.

  • Planning your day? You use logic to prioritise tasks, schedule meetings, and figure out the most efficient route to get everything done.
  • Having a conversation? You use logic to understand the other person’s perspective, formulate your response and avoid stepping on any toes.

See? Logic is woven into the fabric of our existence. It’s the invisible force that guides our decisions, shapes our interactions and ultimately determines our success.

So, on this World Logic Day, let’s celebrate this incredible mental muscle. Let’s challenge ourselves to think critically, question our assumptions, and embrace the power of reason. Let’s become more like that pack of wolves — working together, using our collective intelligence to navigate the complexities of the world around us.

And remember, just like a skilled motorcyclist, the more you practice, the smoother your ride will be. Happy thinking!
